I’VE STARTED PHOTOGRAPHY AS A SERIOUS HOBBY BACK IN 2008 WHILE I WAS LIVING IN ABIDJAN, IVORY COAST.
I was hired by Communication companies to mainly shoot products and fashion campaigns. I used to work for some famous African Fashion designer (CERES ANANKE) and African Fabric brands like UNIWAX and WOODIN.
Among other’s I’ve had the pleasure to shoot sessions for CANAL + HORIZON and ORANGE CI, this was an amazing experience to work with people passionate about their work and to see my pictures featured in Magazines, TV commercials or on outdoor commercials screens.
On a more personal level, both my passion for Photography and Music mixed at some point, shooting concerts and live performances has always been a favorite of mine !
I am working with Jazz Saxophonist STEVE COLEMAN since 2001 and I am a founding member of M-Base Ways , a website dedicated to explore new perspectives in creative music. Part of my job there is to shoot photo and video, as well as editing videos.
That’s one of the reason you will find a good amount of Steve Coleman related artists and groups on my website, I know most of theses musicians since the mid 90’s and I’ve build a strong relationship with them which helps when you shoot pictures.
Nowadays I’m based in Paris, France and shoot various kinds of projects, from Studio Portrait sessions to Dance Recital or Video documents.
