A Journey Through Sight and Sound

My professional journey in photography began in 2008 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. What started as a dedicated passion quickly evolved into a high-level career in commercial and fashion photography. I had the privilege of collaborating with iconic African fashion designers like Ceres Ananke and major textile brands such as Uniwax and Woodin.

These early years allowed me to refine my technical precision on large-scale campaigns for international clients like Canal+ Horizon and Orange CI. Seeing my work featured in magazines, television commercials, and giant outdoor displays instilled in me a rigorous professional standard and a keen eye for visual impact.

The Intersection of Music and Image

My work took a deeply personal turn when my two greatest passions—Photography and Music—converged. Since 2001, I have been working alongside visionary jazz saxophonist Steve Coleman. As a founding member of M-Base Ways, I serve as an archivist, photographer, and videographer, documenting the evolution of creative music.

Having known many of these musicians since the mid-90s, I have built a bond of trust that transcends the lens. This intimacy allows me to capture the raw, authentic moments of creation, both on stage and behind the scenes, that define my "Music Archives" collection.

Today: Paris and Beyond

Now based in Paris, France, my practice has expanded to include a wide range of visual narratives. From studio portraits and dance recitals to documentary filmmaking and fine art photography (Street, Landscapes, and Macro), I bring the same level of craftsmanship and curiosity to every project.

Whether I am editing a sequence in Final Cut Pro X or processing a fine art print for a collector, I am driven by the search for rhythm, light, and the perfect moment.
